I had been meaning to post a picture of Jadon's new haircut! I can't believe how big my little boy is getting! :) He's been in a good mood lately about getting his picture taken! I need to schedual a time to get his profession pictures done again!

Here's a new picture of my boy! I just love this little guy so much! I can't believe he is nearing his FIRST birthday. I have a hard time believing it. It seems like only yesterday he was a small bundle in my arms that couldn't even sit up alone. It sounds crazy, but my mind has a hard time recalling a time before he was our son. All those months of waiting for him seem ions away. He is just everything I've ever dreamed of, and more. I can't help but look at this picture and see such a big boy. He's climbed up on to this rocking chair, and was *jumping* in the seat. I snapped a quick photo, but now I've moved the rocker out of the living room. He is wearing his "I do all my own stunts" shirt. This shirt cracks me up, but seeing him trying stuff like this out scares me!

I took so many shots, but it really is hard to get him to enjoy photo shoots these days...

Thank God, for digital photography, I have at least ten missed shots from this set! :)
Our lighting in this house is horrible. But it would be better if we replaced some of the lightbulbs.

I've been wanting to use more fresh herbs for cooking for a while, so I finally got around to starting my own little herb garden. Stress on the word little, I only have five plants so far. I'm not too confident on my planting abilities. I keep having flash backs to grade school with those little milk carton plants we used to make. I'm not sure if I planted anything since then.

The past four days I've spent framing pictures and decorating the house. These military white walls are finally starting to look more like home. I am insanely careful and choosy when it comes to framing pictures. Xian wanted to crop one of my pictures of Astra as a puppy, and I almost had a little bit of a breakdown. I'm hoping to have everything finished by the time Xian's parents come to visit. So I have 8 days. I should have more than enough time.

Besides that not much is new with me.

35/50 states isn't bad. I would love to visit them all sometime. As for foriegn countries so far I've only been to Canada. I refuse to leave California without visiting Mexico, so by 2005 I hope I've at least gone there!
